Like Potato Pancakes??? These Potato Pancakes take it up to the Next Level!!! What is different about Zemaiciu Potato Pancakes is two things. First they have a meat filling. Secondly the batter is made a little bit differently. The batter is from Potatoes and Wheat. The potatoes are first boiled and then mashed. Then wheat is added. The result is a lighter and fluffier pancake. This combined with the meat filling makes a dish that is fit for the Grand Dukes. Just add water and ground meat. One package makes 15 - 16 pancakes. 400 gr. In addition to meat, we often use other fillings. Try some pickled cabbage or maybe mushrooms. You can also use grated carrots.
