"Lenin's Head on a Platter" is the memoirs of Laima Vince from 1988 - 1989 from her year as a student at Vilnius University during the time of Lithuania's singing revolution. This book gives great insight as to what daily life was like and what it was like just trying to live a normal life during this turbulent time in Lithuanian history. At this time there was much pressure being put on Lithuania from Moscow. As you read about the actions imposed upon the people of Lithuania it will create a myriad of emotions.
