For those of you that have never used this, it's very simple. The idea is to get the Soap into the Water. There are a number of ways to do this. Pour the water into the pan you are going to soak the clothes in. Throw the clothes in the water then just rub the soap between your hands or rub the soap against the clothes until the water turns a milky, bluish color then soak and wash and rinse the way you normally would. If the clothes can be washed in your machine's "gentle cycle" here's what you can do. From the machine's Owner's Manual, find out how much water is used in the wash cycle. Fill a container with the same amount of water. Then find out approximately how much soap you need to put in the water to turn the water a milky, bluish color. We recommend shaving the soap off with a knife (a vegetable peeler works great for this). Then just "shave" this amount of soap into the washing machine when you do your washing.
